Garden Receptions
Garden Bar Mitzvah Receptions
The most personal bar and bat mitzvah receptions happen at home — in the garden of the family property or a close relative's outdoor space. Following the synagogue service, guests arrive at a beautifully dressed marquee in a familiar setting. Typically 80–250 guests at a sit-down lunch or dinner. The interior is dressed to the family's brief — traditional, contemporary, or themed to the young person's personality and interests.

Kosher catering at a marquee event requires specific infrastructure. We configure a dedicated catering zone with separate preparation areas for meat and dairy where required, appropriate counter and storage surfaces, and a layout that works for the caterer's service flow. We work regularly with London's leading kosher caterers and understand their requirements in a temporary structure. The marquee is configured before caterer arrival.
Theming & Design
Bar Mitzvah Theme Design
Bar and bat mitzvah theming ranges from traditional (navy and gold, Star of David motifs, Hebrew lettering) to highly personalised (sports themes, music themes, travel themes, favourite TV shows). The marquee interior is the canvas — we can incorporate projection mapping, custom printed backdrops, neon signs, themed table centrepieces co-ordinated with lighting colours, and a candle-lighting ceremony backdrop that photographs perfectly.
