These are starting-point guides. Every garden event has a different layout, dance floor, bar, catering area, lounge zones, which all affect the footprint. Our free site visit produces a precise CAD floor plan.

Can A Marquee
Fit In My
Garden?
In 30 years of garden Marquee installations across London and the UK, we have rarely found a garden we couldn't work with. Compact plots, sloped lawns, tight access routes, most constraints have a solution. The honest answer comes from a site visit.
The key requirements are: adequate clear ground area for the structure footprint, access of approximately 1.2m width for installation, and clearance from overhead cables and boundary structures.

Our most common garden surface. Stakes anchor the frame, flooring protects the lawn. Garden typically recovers within 2–3 weeks post-derig.
Patio / Paving
Weighted ballast anchoring eliminates the need for ground penetration. Ideal for patios, terraces, and paved surfaces.
Sloped Garden
Legs can be adjusted and floors can be levelled independently. Most domestic slopes are within our capability, assessed during site survey.
Gravel / Hardcore
Works well. The loose surface provides good drainage beneath flooring. Anchoring assessed case by case.
Concrete
Ballast weighting or surface-fixed anchoring. No ground penetration required. Common for driveways and hard standings.
Very Steep Banks
Steep drops above approximately 800mm may require additional engineering. We assess each site honestly and advise on feasibility.
